Dr. LaVelle is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, specializing in hip and knee replacement. He completed his Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at the world-renowned Columbia University Medical Center in New York and his residency at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Total KneeReplacement

Total knee replacement, also called total knee arthroplasty, is a surgical procedure in which the worn-out or damaged surfaces of the knee joint are removed and replaced with an artificial prosthesis.

Revision KneeReplacement

Revision knee replacement surgery involves replacing part or all of your previous knee prosthesis with a new prosthesis. Although total knee replacement surgery is often successful, failure is sometimes possible due to various reasons and patients may require revision surgery. Dr. LaVelle has significant training and experience with complicated knee replacement surgery and can optimize the revision procedure for better outcomes.

Revision HipReplacement

During total hip replacement, the damaged cartilage and bone are removed from the hip joint and replaced with artificial components.
